Using it more than I thought I would! We have Irish, American and Australian accents in our family, and Hiku does a good job recognizing them all. Were now using it to leave messages for one another too, by syncing to multiple phones. Itd be nice if this was a feature - different alert icons, and a different default list

Bought the Hiku scanner/voice device. It has changed our world. You use the last of an item, scan the barcode, its immediately placed on your shopping list. Think of an item you need, press the button and speak into the device, it places it on your shopping list. This is a must have. Plus...it is magnetic so you put it on your fridge for easy family access. Highly recommended.

We are living this device. Magnet on the fridge makes it convenient for scans or voice. Shared list with spouse is outstanding. One improvement needed is to be able to specify the list for the added item. I created list for grocery and Costco but you have to go to app and log in to move items around. Also would be cool to add a tool to suspend time out on your phone. I have to keep swiping and pass wording into my phone from aisle to aisle. Still we are living this device.

Brilliant product! Easy to use and works flawlessly. This small "Refrigerator magnet" sits ready to use any time we run low on something we need. We just grab the device scan a barcode or speak the name of what we need in the item is added to a grocery list which is shared between my phone and my spouses. Whoever gets to the store first purchase is the item and swipes it to remove it from the list. No more phone calls in the middle of the grocery store to share lists... no more roaming the aisles of the grocery store trying to remember a list which was left at home. My only very minor complaint, is that I have the auto lock feature on my phone set for three minutes. I find myself having to reopen my phone several times during shopping trip. I just change my autolock to five minutes to see if that improves it. This wonderful piece of technology has taken some stress out of our lives and its fun to use in the process. Everyone should have one.

This product is fantastic. Both the app and the hardware are really well designed. Everything works flawlessly, and my technophobic wife even likes it.

At first it seemed like it would be gimmicky, but I stuck it to the side of the fridge the day after Christmas and weve been using it consistently since then. Voice recognition is solid, scanner works great, syncing across our phones is quick.

Great little divide. Keep it in the frig and both my husband and I use it since it is not voice sensitive. We speak into it or scan barcodes. Hope they make another for a "To Do" list.

This gadget is amazing! I love scanning or saying an item and have it magically appear on my phone! No "connected" house should be without one! Now just make it work with my Echo...

Allows the entire family to coordinate on what the house needs.

I dont have to have a piece of paper any more or remember what the wife told me.

Ive used the gadget that goes with this app for several weeks and absolutely love it. It has eliminated the need for a paper list (which constantly had to be written and rewritten) and made our lives much easier in terms of shopping. It works great, recognizes most barcodes, and when it doesnt, the voice recognition will do a wonderful job. I have contacted the company about a couple of things and have been highly impressed by how much they seem to care about their customers. If you ever do any shopping online or offline, you will benefit from using this gadget.

This app is simple and straightforward. It makes sharing shopping lists with roommates and significant others a breeze. All together, it has really streamlined grocery shopping in our house. Be sure to purchase the actual Hiku device to go along with the app; otherwise, this app would be really limited.

Its a life changer. Simple to use. My husband and I each have it on or phones. Whoever goes shopping has the list. Will never go back to paper!

Overall we like the app and use the hardware. The only problem we have had is the app crashing, ironically it seems to happen when prompted to give a review, so I knocked off one star.

We have one car and I work in the city- so my husband does all the grocery shopping. Hiku has cut out trips to the store in half! its so easy to use that each trip is much more efficient. We arent going back the next day for three more things. Love this app!

Super easy to use and very useful!!! Love it saves me time and money

With just a little more tweaking it could go from 3 Starts to 5 easily. Good tool for the family to use to add things to a shopping list. While at work if my teen uses something up he scans it and I see it immediately. Makes trips home after work easier.
